I love it when people share their love of gardening which is exactly what’s happening in The Dahlia Gardens of Jim & Jim at Westminster Village West Lafayette. The Jims moved in and got to work! The pool noodles are an unusual way to label the plants but the garden is raised and not accessible. Since this is a retirement community, they made sure everyone could see the cultivar names! And the Jims provide dahlias at reception and on dining tables on a regular basis.
After all my ranting about how we don’t have a garden here, they took matters into their own hands and created one. Bravo. Small but mighty and right out on the end of B Building so all the residents can enjoy it. Want to tour it? Thanks to Ann H Hunt for some of the photos. She’s awesome!
