St. Louis, MO (Ballwin)
The coolest thing about Sherwood’s Forest Nursery and Garden Center in Ballwin, MO is the topiary including a Stanley Cup…too bad I lost the photo (but we won the cup!). They have a large inventory which is all listed on their website, including prices. Not many nurseries do that. It’s really close to two other good-sized garden centers which means you can squeeze in a lot of plant shopping in a short amount of time. They’re known for carrying larger shade trees if you’re in that market. We received a minimum of customer service here and one gallon perennials are $15-17.50 which is beyond my comfort level. Still, a good selection for August!
