Jardins Michel Corbeil

Eustache, Quebec

The Jardins Michel Corbeil made for an unusual stop on our way from Ontario to Quebec province. Maybe we couldn’t read enough French and missed a sign but we could tell there were demonstration gardens to the left– we just didn’t realize how far away they were! Or that we needed to pay to see them. We left the greenhouses and walked for about five minutes past all the production fields to get to the demonstration gardens only to find them chained off. Jeff said he’d take the French lecture that was sure to come and we entered the empty gardens. They were ok but it was certainly odd that they were tucked so far away. After we were discovered, we promised to pay up front. I believe it was $8 each (about $6 US). Usually demo gardens are free and are meant to inspire you to make purchases. Check out Echinacea ‘Tres Amigos’. Je l’adore!
